Hank Lambert is an accomplished food industry and consumer products executive with broad management skills, including strategic planning and business development, go-to-market execution, business integration, food safety and investor relations. He has over 35 years of food industry experience, having worked at such notable companies as Heublein Inc.; RJ Reynolds; Nabisco, Inc.; and, Pinnacle Foods. He has held various business unit leadership positions servicing the foodservice and leading consumer food brands markets. Mr. Lambert has also served on boards and as a member of various food industry associations, including the International Foodservice Manufacturers Association (IFMA), Institute of Food Technologists, Safe Supply of Affordable Food Everywhere (SSAFE), and North American Meat Institute (NAMA).
From 2010 through June 2013, Mr. Lambert served as general manager of the global food and water business of Underwriters Laboratories, where he was responsible for the start-up of the company's food safety services business. From 2007 to 2010, Mr. Lambert served as Senior Vice President of Business Development, and then President, of Arrowstream Transportation, Inc., a provider of innovative supply chain management solutions to the foodservice industry whose key customers included Wendy's, Applebee's, Arby's, TGIF, Sysco, and DMA. Prior to 2007, Mr. Lambert held executive positions with a number of high profile companies in the foodservice industry. Mr. Lambert earned his MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business, and his BA in Economics (with Honors) from Union College, Schenectady, N.Y.
Mark Elliott was appointed our Vice President of Finance on July 31, 2015. He additionally serves as our Principal Financial Officer and Principal Accounting Officer.
Mr. Elliott has over 15 years acconting and business administraion experience. He is responsible for preparing the financial statements, notes, MD&A as well as other financial information and disclosures for SEC reporting. Mr. Elliott also manages all accounting and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and Sarbanes Oxley Act. Mr. Elliott also supervises Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable personnel. Previously, Mr. Elliott served as PURE's Controller and has been responsible for managing all accounting and regulatory reporting activities since May 2006. Prior to joining the company in 2004, Mr. Elliott worked in government accounting for the City of San Diego.
Mr. Elliott earned a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration-Accountancy at California State University – San Marcos.
Tom Myers has over 40 years of food industry experience focusing on operations management, quality control and assurance, research and development, product and process development, plant design and construction, food safety and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining PURE Bioscience, Mr. Myers served as the President and Principal of Idaho Milk Products where he built a $105 million green field dairy proteins plant and launched a worldwide business with revenues in excess of $200 million annually.
Mr. Myers has also held executive management roles at Weider Nutrition International, Puritan Quartz Pharmaceuticals, FruitSource Associates and FruitSource Confections, Nancy’s Specialty Foods, Izaki Glico and Berkshire Hathaway Corporation (See’s Candies and See’s Candy Shops). Mr. Myers holds a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University Long Beach.
As EVP, Technical Support Services, Mr. Myers leads the implementation and application of PURE’s SDC technology in customer facilities through problem identification and solution development, custom protocol development and training.
Dolana Blount has served many roles for PURE Bioscience since 1998, including her current roles as VP Technology Development and Regulatory Affairs. Ms. Blount is responsible for coordination of technologies in new product development, manufacturing oversight and quality assurance (QA) management, GMP/GLP regulations, design of protocols for custom studies and ensures and enforces compliance with regulatory guidelines. Ms. Blount also oversees the Company’s intellectual property portfolio and customer service. In addition to microbiology, Ms. Blount has an extensive background in government regulatory issues, including EPA, FDA and DOT submissions, maintenance, compliance and reporting.
Prior to joining PURE Bioscience, Ms. Blount spent 7 years as the Chemical Compliance Coordinator and Safety Officer for Soldemer Incorporated, a warehousing and ground transportation company. Ms. Blount earned a Bachelor of Science in microbiology from University of California, San Diego (UCSD), and has managed several post-graduate research projects.
Bridget Tinsley-Cormier is the Vice President Market Development for PURE Bioscience, Inc. Ms. Tinsley is responsible for both expanding the market for SDC as a food contact surface disinfectant and sanitizer and leading the future commercial applications of SDC as a food safety aid in the processing of poultry, meat and produce. She has over fifteen years of food industry and food safety experience with diverse expertise across global food programs, territory sales, account management, and laboratory research and business development.
Prior to joining PURE, Ms. Tinsley served as Senior Food Safety & Regulatory Specialist with Thermo Fisher Scientific, Manager of Global Food Programs for Underwriters Laboratories, LLC and was the project leader for the approval and adoption of the antimicrobial treatment Sanova® in the meat, poultry and produce industries. She was instrumental in the development of a commercial pathogen reduction solution to the point where it was acquired by an industry leader (Ecolab).
Ms. Tinsley serves on the Board of Directors and is Secretary of STOP Foodborne Illness, a public health and food safety non-profit organization. Ms. Tinsley has her Masters of Science in Food Microbiology from Kansas State University.
