Hank Lambert

Chief Executive Officer

Profile: HLambert

Hank Lambert is an accomplished food industry and consumer products executive with broad management skills, including strategic planning and business development, go-to-market execution, business integration, food safety and investor relations. He has over 35 years of food industry experience, having worked at such notable companies as Heublein Inc.; RJ Reynolds; Nabisco, Inc.; and, Pinnacle Foods. He has held various business unit leadership positions servicing the foodservice and leading consumer food brands markets. Mr. Lambert has also served on boards and as a member of various food industry associations, including the International Foodservice Manufacturers Association (IFMA), Institute of Food Technologists, Safe Supply of Affordable Food Everywhere (SSAFE), and North American Meat Institute (NAMA).

From 2010 through June 2013, Mr. Lambert served as general manager of the global food and water business of Underwriters Laboratories, where he was responsible for the start-up of the company's food safety services business. From 2007 to 2010, Mr. Lambert served as Senior Vice President of Business Development, and then President, of Arrowstream Transportation, Inc., a provider of innovative supply chain management solutions to the foodservice industry whose key customers included Wendy's, Applebee's, Arby's, TGIF, Sysco, and DMA. Prior to 2007, Mr. Lambert held executive positions with a number of high profile companies in the foodservice industry. Mr. Lambert earned his MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business, and his BA in Economics (with Honors) from Union College, Schenectady, N.Y.


Mark Elliott

Vice President, Finance

Mark Elliott was appointed our Vice President of Finance on July 31, 2015.  He additionally serves as our Principal Financial Officer and Principal Accounting Officer. 

Mr. Elliott has over 15 years acconting and business administraion experience. He is responsible for preparing the financial statements, notes, MD&A as well as other financial information and disclosures for SEC reporting.  Mr. Elliott also manages all accounting and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and Sarbanes Oxley Act. Mr. Elliott also supervises Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable personnel. Previously, Mr. Elliott served as PURE's Controller and has been responsible for managing all accounting and regulatory reporting activities since May 2006.  Prior to joining the company in 2004, Mr. Elliott worked in government accounting for the City of San Diego. 

Mr. Elliott earned a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration-Accountancy at California State University – San Marcos.

Cliff Wechsler

Executive Vice President, Sales

Cliff Wechsler has over 30 years of foodservice and consumer packaged goods experience, with a track record of developing and transforming new businesses into high growth segments. Previously, Wechsler served in a variety of senior sales management positions with Kraft Foods. During his tenure at Kraft Foods, Mr. Wechsler was responsible for managing a $250 million QSR channel by shaping and developing key business strategies and national promotions for various key customers such as Subway and Burger King.

Mr. Wechsler began his career with Oscar Mayer where he held many key sales positions, including responsibility for the development of sales for the convenience store channel Western Region. He attended the University of Florida, majoring in Business, and started his career in store management with Kroger prior to joining Oscar Mayer.

As EVP of Sales for PURE Bioscience, Mr. Wechsler is responsible for helping drive the commercialization of SDC technology in the food industry through the development of partnerships with key customers. 

Tom Myers

Executive Vice President, Technical Support Services

Tom Myers has over 40 years of food industry experience focusing on operations management, quality control and assurance, research and development, product and process development, plant design and construction, food safety and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining PURE Bioscience, Mr. Myers served as the President and Principal of Idaho Milk Products where he built a $105 million green field dairy proteins plant and launched a worldwide business with revenues in excess of $200 million annually.

Mr. Myers has also held executive management roles at Weider Nutrition International, Puritan Quartz Pharmaceuticals, FruitSource Associates and FruitSource Confections, Nancy’s Specialty Foods, Izaki Glico and Berkshire Hathaway Corporation (See’s Candies and See’s Candy Shops). Mr. Myers holds a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University Long Beach.

As EVP, Technical Support Services, Mr. Myers leads the implementation and application of PURE’s SDC technology in customer facilities through problem identification and solution development, custom protocol development and training. 

Dolana Blount

Vice President, Technology Development and Regulatory Affairs

Dolana Blount has served many roles for PURE Bioscience since 1998, including her current roles as VP Technology Development and Regulatory Affairs. Ms. Blount is responsible for coordination of technologies in new product development, manufacturing oversight and quality assurance (QA) management, GMP/GLP regulations, design of protocols for custom studies and ensures and enforces compliance with regulatory guidelines. Ms. Blount also oversees the Company’s intellectual property portfolio and customer service. In addition to microbiology, Ms. Blount has an extensive background in government regulatory issues, including EPA, FDA and DOT submissions, maintenance, compliance and reporting.

Prior to joining PURE Bioscience, Ms. Blount spent 7 years as the Chemical Compliance Coordinator and Safety Officer for Soldemer Incorporated, a warehousing and ground transportation company. Ms. Blount earned a Bachelor of Science in microbiology from University of California, San Diego (UCSD), and has managed several post-graduate research projects.

Bridget C. Tinsley-Cormier, M.S.

Vice President, Market Development

Bridget Tinsley-Cormier is the Vice President Market Development for PURE Bioscience, Inc. Ms. Tinsley is responsible for both expanding the market for SDC as a food contact surface disinfectant and sanitizer and leading the future commercial applications of SDC as a food safety aid in the processing of poultry, meat and produce. She has over fifteen years of food industry and food safety experience with diverse expertise across global food programs, territory sales, account management, and laboratory research and business development.

Prior to joining PURE, Ms. Tinsley served as Senior Food Safety & Regulatory Specialist with Thermo Fisher Scientific, Manager of Global Food Programs for Underwriters Laboratories, LLC and was the project leader for the approval and adoption of the antimicrobial treatment Sanova® in the meat, poultry and produce industries. She was instrumental in the development of a commercial pathogen reduction solution to the point where it was acquired by an industry leader (Ecolab).

Ms. Tinsley serves on the Board of Directors and is Secretary of STOP Foodborne Illness, a public health and food safety non-profit organization. Ms. Tinsley has her Masters of Science in Food Microbiology from Kansas State University.  

Gary L. Primes

Vice President, Operations

Gary Primes has nearly forty years of broad-based experience with the manufacturing and supply chain logistics of consumer, nutraceutical and biotech products. In addition to multiple Vice President of Operations positions, Mr. Primes has also acted as CIO, General Manager, Manager of Purchasing & Data Processing and Independent Consultant for companies whose primary businesses have ranged from Pharma/Biotech Manufacturing to Wholesale-Distribution / Service-Merchandising to Financial Services, including Case Financial, Inc., H.E.L.P. Technologies and Puritan-Quartz Pharmaceuticals.

Mr. Primes holds a Professional Bachelor of Architecture degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and has overseen the design, construction and re-fitting of multiple facilities.  He has installed a wide array of sophisticated production and packaging equipment, including some of the country’s highest quality, soft gelatin capsule manufacturing.  He has also written Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manuals from the ground up and changed attitudes and cultures and been responsible for up to 200 people.

Mr. Primes has served in multiple industry organizations, including being the 2011-2014 Chair of the Operations Management Community of Practice within the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE); during which time he contributed to the about-to-be published ISPE Good Practice Guide: Operations Management
